Our treatments, in plain words.
We combine hands-on therapy with modern equipment. Which methods suit you is something we decide together, after your assessment.

Advanced TECAR technology
TECAR Winback BACK 4
Deep warmth and gentle electrical stimulation, for pain, movement and muscles.
The Winback BACK 4 combines TECAR radiofrequency with TENS and EMS electrical stimulation, offering a complete approach to physiotherapy rehabilitation. Combining these technologies lets the physiotherapist adapt the treatment to each patient's needs, as part of a personalised rehabilitation programme.
More about this treatmentCommonly used for
- Muscle pain and tightness
- Tendinitis and tendinopathies
- Muscle strains and sprains
- Lower back and neck pain
- Joint stiffness
- Activating and retraining muscles
What to expect in a session
Your therapist glides the electrode over the area, using a special cream for good contact. You'll feel a deep warmth, which we adjust so it always stays comfortable. With TENS or EMS you may feel a light tingling or the muscle contracting. Before your first treatment we'll ask about pacemakers, metal implants or pregnancy.
How it works
TECAR radiofrequency (CET/RET) transfers energy into the tissues, creating controlled internal heating that may help relieve pain and improve mobility.
The TENS mode aims to relieve pain by electrically stimulating sensory nerve fibres, while EMS causes muscle contractions that help activate and retrain the muscles.

Magnetic stimulation and laser
PMST 5 NEO + LASER Magnetic Stimulator
Magnetic pulses and therapeutic laser, in one gentle treatment.
The PMST NEO magnetic stimulator combines a pulsed magnetic field with therapeutic laser in a single treatment. It is non-invasive and commonly used for pain and to support recovery from musculoskeletal problems.
More about this treatmentCommonly used for
- Joint pain and osteoarthritis
- Lower back and neck pain
- Tendinitis and muscle strains
- Sports injuries
- Recovery after a fracture
What to expect in a session
You sit or lie comfortably while the therapist positions the applicator over the area. Depending on the intensity, you may feel gentle rhythmic pulses, and you'll wear protective glasses for the laser. Before we start we'll ask about pacemakers, metal implants or pregnancy.
How it works
The applicator produces short magnetic pulses that reach deep into the tissues. At the same time, the laser targets the same area with infrared light, which may help reduce pain and inflammation.

Hands-on treatment
Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques for your joints, muscles and movement.
Manual therapy is treatment carried out with the physiotherapist's hands, without machines. Using specialised techniques on the joints, muscles and soft tissues, it aims to reduce pain and make movement more comfortable.
More about this treatmentCommonly used for
- Lower back and neck pain
- Headaches that start in the neck
- Shoulder pain and stiffness
- Restricted joint movement
- Stiffness after surgery or immobilisation
What to expect in a session
Wear comfortable clothes; your therapist explains each technique before using it. The pressure is adjusted to you, and you can always tell us if anything feels uncomfortable. It's usually combined with exercises you can keep doing at home.
How it works
Based on your assessment, the therapist uses gentle joint mobilisations, soft-tissue techniques and stretching. The aim is to ease muscle tension and help your joints move more freely.

Fine-needle muscle therapy
Dry Needling
Fine needles placed into points of muscle tension, with no medication.
In dry needling, the physiotherapist inserts very fine needles into points of tension within the muscles. It's called “dry” because nothing is injected. Although it looks similar to acupuncture, it's based on muscle anatomy and the physiotherapist's assessment.
More about this treatmentCommonly used for
- Muscle pain and tightness
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Lower back and buttock pain
- Tension headaches
- Muscle overload in athletes
What to expect in a session
The needles are sterile and single-use, and you'll usually barely feel them go in. You may notice a brief muscle twitch, then mild soreness, like after a workout, for a day or two. Before we start we'll ask about blood-thinning medication or any fear of needles.
How it works
The needle targets knots of muscle tension (trigger points), which often cause pain on the spot or refer it elsewhere. The muscle's local response may help it relax and reduce pain.

Gentle air compression
Pressotherapy
Special air-filled boots gently squeeze the legs, for swelling and heavy legs.
Pressotherapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment. Special boots fill with air and squeeze the leg in sequence, from the bottom up, like a soft massage.
More about this treatmentCommonly used for
- Swollen legs
- Swelling after surgery or injury
- Lymphoedema
- Heavy, tired legs
- Recovery after hard exercise
What to expect in a session
You lie comfortably and wear the boots over your clothes. You'll feel a firm but pleasant pressure moving slowly upwards, and we adjust the intensity so it always stays comfortable. Before we start we'll ask about thrombosis, heart problems or open wounds.
How it works
Each boot has several air chambers. The device inflates them one by one, starting at the foot and moving up towards the thigh, then lets them empty. This wave of pressure may help the circulation of blood and lymph and reduce swelling.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
Not necessarily. You can book directly. If you already have a diagnosis or referral, bring it to your first session.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem and on how you respond to treatment. After your assessment we give you an estimate and update it as you progress.
